At Alexander Care Home

A caring team with years of experience

We’re proud of our experienced and professional care team. They’re the key to our ability to deliver quality care to our residents.

Each member of care staff has specialist training in elder care, dementia care and associated care needs. We invest in their training and development and we retain good staff to give consistency and continuity to our residents. We know making Alexander a great place to work makes it a great place to live.

Committed to caring

We believe in recruiting people with caring values. We then provide the training and nurturing to support our team members to have a great career in care.

Our staff enjoy working at Alexander and these are some of the lovely things they’ve said about their work:
“I love the feeling when I finish work and I know I have done the best I can for all the people I look after.”
“I like helping others and making a difference.”
“I like making residents’ lives comfortable and happy.”
“I enjoy working alongside hardworking and dedicated staff.”

Our reputation with visiting professionals

We enjoy a good reputation with healthcare professionals in Morley and farther afield. “My Mum moved into Alexander Care Home in September 2023, as soon as she saw her gorgeous room a huge smile lit up her face and it hasn’t left since. She is so happy here, she loves the home made food and we are less worried about her falling than when she was at home, due to all the steps the staff have put in place. All the staff are amazing and can’t do enough for the residents, my Mum takes part in the daily activities and loves getting involved. You’re always kept updated with any changes affecting your relatives with plans made together for their future. Definitely the best decision we have made as a family, to move Mum from her house living alone”.
