Your comfort and care
We’ve always provided cosy, comfortable and safe surroundings for our residents, but since 2021 we’ve invested over £350,000 in Alexander Care Home.
The investments have included:
- upgrades to our dining and activities area;
- new facilities such as our resident and visitor “Coffee Corner” and study;
- infrastructure such as a new laundry, an improved central heating system and new roofing.
On top of this, we’ve embraced technology with commercial grade WiFi throughout the building, a new digital care planning system and modern communication tools. These technologies not only help us to provide residents with access to online resources, but also let us provide more interactive social activities within the home. Technology also allows us to spend more time with residents instead of on paperwork.

We’re proud of our experienced and settled care team – many of our staff have been looking after residents at Alexander Care Home for ten years or more and some for over 20. We think that says a lot about the way we value them and their commitment to caring for our residents too.
We invest in our recruitment processes and then we invest in training and developing our people. We understand the importance of creating teams of carers who set high standards and work together to create a safe, caring environment and a sense of community for our residents.
